I recently stayed at The Swiss Cottage in Shanklin and found the experience quite enjoyable. The Deluxe Twin Room was lovely, clean, and had all the essentials like a mini fridge and kettle, which made things convenient. The owners were super friendly and really helpful throughout my stay. The location is fantastic. just a 10-minute walk to the beach and shops made it easy to explore. I also appreciated the upstairs lounge with books and movies for relaxing. One downside was the breakfast not being included in the stay, and the wifi was a bit slow at times.

I loved relaxing in the cozy seating area upstairs and making myself a cup of tea right in my lovely room. There’s a great sun terrace to soak up some rays and a leisure room filled with movies for those chill nights. Just a heads up, the shower was a bit snug, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 😊

great location but needs better soundproofing
I enjoyed the convenience of having a spacious twin room that was exceptionally clean. The thoughtful amenities like the mini fridge and tea/coffee setup made my stay more comfortable.
The room could benefit from improved sound insulation as noise from neighboring rooms was quite noticeable.
